On behalf of our father, Lucien Joseph Gascon, we would like to thank family and friends who were able to join us on Saturday August 7th, 2010 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church to celebrate his life from September 28th, 1928 to August 1st, 2010. He passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 81 years old. Our Father had a wonderful life, loved and cherished his family and friends and touched those he met by his kindness. He lived his life to the fullest and no matter how hard life became, he could always find a humorous side to things. His favourite past times were traveling to see family and friends, playing pool and cards with friends at the senior lodge and sharing his stories and jokes. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to mourn his son Leon; daughter Carol (Rolf); his son Ronald (Cheryl); his four granddaughters, three grandsons, nine great grandchildren and numerous brothers, sisters and friends. One of his biggest wishes in life was for family and friends not to mourn his death but to celebrate his life. Thank you all for sharing in Lucien’s life and making his wish come true.Throughout his life he was a supporter of the DARTS Recreation Program in support of his son Leon Gascon and other residents.
