BOSCH, Jarrett
December 2, 1991 - August 18, 2010

Jarrett Richard Bosch was in a hurry to come into this world; born three months prematurely on December 2, 1991 in Saskatoon, SK and sadly Jarrett left us prematurely on August 18, 2010; too young and too soon in his hometown of Drumheller, AB. Jarrett leaves behind to mourn him his loving Dad Rick, Mom Janice and younger Brother  Connor, his ‘Baba’ Joyce Skomar, Auntie Joanne Skomar and his Auntie Julia and Uncle Lucien Perrault plus a special cousin and friend Kelly Perratt and one of his bestest friends Alex Cedor and of course his dogs Louie and Zoie. Also to mourn him is his Godfather Mark (Tammy) Bosch & family and Godmother Denise (Jim) Strong & family. Jarrett leaves behind on his mom’s side Aunts and Uncles Raymond Albright, Mary Ewanishin, Victor (Teresa) Skomar, Irene Orbin, Tony (Marlyn) Skomar, Rosie (Paul) Kabatuff, Bernice Skomar and also Irene Skomar. On his dad’s side are Aunts and Uncles Jim (Val) Bosch, Wayne Bosch, Jerry (BettyAnn) Bosch, Adele (Kip) Rublee, Ted (Terri) Bosch, Bernie (Glen) Michaliew, Carol (Rob) Perratt and many cousins and friends too numerous to mention. Jarrett was predeceased by his grandfathers; Fred Skomar (1992) and Phillip Bosch (1993), his cousin Rob Wall (2009) and his ‘Grammie’ Jeannette Bosch (August 9, 2010). During the last days of Grammie’s life Jarrett could be found at her bedside holding Grammie’s hand, comforting her. Jarrett was also predeceased by two Great Uncles; Bill and Ernie and three Great Aunts; Grace, Joan and Frances. Jarrett took kindergarten and partial grade one in Forestburg, AB. He and his family then moved to Drumheller in 1998 where Jarrett completed his schooling. He attended St. Anthony’s School graduating in 2009. He was currently enrolled in Red Deer College to take Engineering. Being an ‘A’ student he received scholarships to continue his education. Jarrett always put others first with his big, kind heart. He proved this more so when at the
age of nine he saved his Dad’s life after an ATV accident. As a result of his valour he received the ‘Medal of Meritorious Conduct’ from Her Excellency Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson in November, 2001. Over the years Jarrett took part in Cubs and Scouts and he also participated in the musical ‘Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat’ at the Kaleidoscope Theatre in Drumheller, as well as the school band playing the trumpet plus in a Jazz band. Jarrett had a love and knack for working with electrical equipment, especially computers. He could be found erasing hard drives, setting up programs or just playing games and downloading everything. Jarrett loved travelling. He especially enjoyed his trip to Europe with his school group in 2008 and in March 2009 he travelled to Cuba with the Bosch family, Grammie included. Jarrett always enjoyed the luxury of having his own money. He worked at different places in Drumheller and was currently employed at Walmart as a Customer Service Manager. Jarrett loved going to the shooting range with his Dad and Brother Connor. He could always hit the bull’s eye when others could not. Even though Jarrett was a very busy young man he always found time to watch a movie, curled up with his mom. He also spent many hours visiting and just laughing with his Baba and Auntie Joanne. Jarrett was an amazing person. He was a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin and a wonderful friend to everyone. In honour of Jarrett let us greet everyone or say good-bye with a warm hug or a gentle pat on the back. To all those who knew Jarrett - he was our ‘old soul’. Jarrett will be missed by all. Prayer Service was on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Home and his Funeral Service was on Wednesday, August 25 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Drumheller with Father Mario Basque officiating. Donations in memorial of Jarrett can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Courtney Winter’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services (403) 823-2666 entrusted with arrangements.
