Michael Jerome Sullivan passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010 at the age of 73 in Drumheller AB.  Michael was born in Calgary Alberta, September 29, 1936.  After High School he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force at the age of 18.  There he trained as an Air Traffic Controller.  After basic training in Clinton Ontario, Michael was stationed at Gander, NFLD; Comox, BC; Holburg, BC; Prince George, BC; Edgar, ONT; Barrie, ONT; Metz, France; Germany; Raymore, ONT; Sernnette, QUE; Sioux Lookout, ONT; and Penhold, AB.  He retired from the military in 1968.  After Michael retired from the military, he worked for CPR at their Alyth Shops in Calgary as a Machinists’ helper for ten years.  Michael then joined the Core of Commissionaire in Calgary where he worked in various locations including the York Hotel, The Telus Building and the Foothills Hospital until he retired.  He was preceded by his mother and father William Ambrose and Esther Mary (Lesson) Sullivan and by his sisters Josephine Ryerson and Loretta Ward and by his infant sisters Mary and Mary Linda.  Michael was survived by his three sisters; Marie and Kent Burren of Delburne, Shelia and Bill Clapham of Calgary; Eileen and Bob Smyth of Craigmyle and numerous nieces and nephews.  Michael will be buried with his parents at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Calgary, Alberta.
