Ethel (Betty) Margaret Christensen (Clare) passed away peacefully July 26, 2009 at the Drumheller Hospital. She was born in England May 22, 1918. She was a former Drumheller Co-op employee for twenty-three years and also a longtime member of Tops. Survived by her two sons Harley (Marilyn) and Richard (Diane), both of Drumheller and two daughters, Margaret (Terry) Guta of Calgary and Penny (Mark) Hansen of Drumheller, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Page of Innisfail and Marion (Frank) Stelck of Parksville, BC and one brother, Hilliard Clare of Prince George, BC. Predeceased by her husband Chris, son Ross and daughter-in-law Velma, also her parents, one brother and one sister. Thank you to the nursing staff at the Drumheller Hospital, also to Dr. Graham and Dr. Neffgen. Memorial service to be held Friday, July 31, at 2 p.m. at St. Magloires Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Magloires Anglican Church or the Drumheller Heart to Heart Society.
