Marvin James Menssa, born August 3, 1950 - passed away February 2, 2022 at the age of 71.
Marvin was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Anthony Menssa, his brother Norman and grandson Dylan. Marvin has started his eternal life, leaving here his wife Twylia, Sons - Andrew & Reed (Christina, Billie, Taylor). Sister - Shirley, Sister-in-law Judy, Step-Daughter - Rhonda (Dana, Kearra, Cadence, Devon). Step-Son - Timothy (Jennifer, Thailia, Julia, Luke, Charolette).
Marvin was born in Calgary, grew up in Victoria Park area. Moved to Edmonton to become a pharmacist from U of A and started working at Dicks Drugs Drumheller, before going to the hospital pharmacy for over 35 years with a heart felt caring for everyone’s total well-being.
He gave extra time to patients and was on call when needed, he has served people with excellence. Marvin’s character and concern for others came from his long and well established Christian faith. He served decades in many areas at Grace Community Church (Parkdale Baptist). Marv served in administration roles, above all he enjoyed kids club, teaching bible lessons, outdoor adventure outings to local nature trails with his family and friends. When out walking he always greeted others with a smile and a kind word. Marvin has left an indelible mark of God’s grace to others and the hope within Christ.
