UHRICH
Roy

January 18, 1936 - December 23, 2017

Roy passed away at home with his
loving wife Stella of 59 years by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Mable Uhrich, brothers Eddy, Brian and Frankie, sister Mable and nieces and nephews. Roy will be affectionately remembered by wife Stella, daughters Joanne (Steve) Dedul, Lee (CharBrace) Uhrich and favorite granddaughter Karly Jo Bodnarchuk, as well as brothers Garry (Marge) Uhrich, Glen (Lucy) Uhrich, sisters Helen Schrock, Carolann Jarvis, Cindy Bailie (Brian), sister-in-law Maryanne Uhrich, brother-in-law Ted (Peggy) Ginger as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Roy was a professional driver with just under three million accident-free miles to his credit. His daughters and granddaughter were his greatest joy. He enjoyed playing music with his friends and riding his Harley into the sunset. Thanks to Dr. Ram and Candace for everything. Special thanks to our neighbour and friend Yola Yearly for her support and contribution to the luncheon. Scott from Courtney-Winters Funeral Home was fabulous with helping the family at this sad time. We would like to thank Freson Bros. in advance for providing the food for the luncheon. As per Roy’s wishes, there will be a memorial luncheon at the Royal Canadian Legion on Centre Street in Drumheller, Saturday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to S.T.A.R.S. Air Ambulance or the Alzheimers Society.
