SCOTT
Anna

1922 - 2017

Anna Scott was born in Richmond District, Saskatchewan in 1922, and passed away peacefully at Continuing Care in Drumheller on August 29, 2017 with family by her side. Jack and Anna were married in 1949 and moved shortly thereafter to Drumheller, where she has resided ever since. Anna had a reputation for pie and bread baking, and in the summer you could mostly find her in her garden. In their retirement years Mom looked forward to those trips to Las Vegas or Laughlin where she spent her hard-earned money on the penny slots. She was a quiet and humble person who enjoyed her family and always had words of wisdom which she provided only if asked for. She will be sadly missed by all of us and we were lucky to have her in our lives for so long. Anna leaves to mourn her children; Frances (Don) Senior, Linda (Ron) Culshaw, Pat (Blair) Hautzinger, Bob Scott, Joan (Dale) Rowell, Ken Scott, her sister Lena Moscato, her sister-in-law Evelyn Scott, 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Anna was predeceased by her husband John Francis (Jack) Scott in 2000, daughter Shirley Mae Scott in 1975, son James William Scott in 1995 and daughter-in-law Linda Louise Scott in 2013. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Memorial donations may be made to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
