Joyce Pozzolo passed away peacefully at the Drumheller Health Centre on March 23, 2017. Joyce was born in Chauvin, Alberta on April 29. 1934. Joyce raised her children and grandson in Drumheller mainly. She was a homemaker and loved to knit. Joyce was predeceased by her daughter Jacqueline Burke. Joyce is survived by her husband of 61 years Robert Pozzolo, her son Garfield Shane Pozzolo, grandchildren Cody Pozzolo, Misty Hagermen, Amanda Chamberlain, Chris Chamberlain, Steven Chamberlain. Special mention to her niece Judy Cunningham. The family would like to thank Dr. Moshood for his amazing care. Also, special thanks to the nursing staff at the Drumheller Health Centre. Donations can be made to the Lung Cancer Association of Canada. As per Joyce’s request, no funeral will be held. A private family gathering will be announced at a later date.
