Doreen May Cuncannon passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, AB on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the age of 86 years. She was born in Drumheller, AB in 1930, and raised on the family farm near Morrin, AB. Following her marriage to Don, they raised their children in Morrin until 1971, when they moved to Calgary. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, Don; children Gary, Wendy, Layne (Monty) and Michael (Michelle); grandchildren Carly (Ron), Chris (Kelly), Amanda, Clint (Jenn), Kevin (Stephanie), Daniel (Grace), Charlene, Max (April) and Alex; great-grandchildren Zach, Alex, Marshall, Cole, Nicole, Dakota, Rylan, Liam, Callum, Dameon and Arius; as well as siblings Marion, Gordon, Larry and Ann. Doreen was predeceased by her brothers Art and Terry. A private service will be held with a celebration of life to follow at a later date.
