Helen Irene Scott passed peacefully on January 30th at the age of 95. Helen was born May 3, 1921 in Oshawa Ontario to Fred and Irene Dobney. She was married to Reg Scott until his passing in 1977. Together they raised 4 children, three sons and a daughter. Murray, David (2014), Bob (2010) and Carol (1971). Along with her 4 children, Helen also had 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Granny/Nana/Helen was famous to her kids and grandkids for her baking and if you ever had the opportunity to have one of Her oatmeal cookies or heavenly hash squares you would understand why. Her baking wasn’t the only great quality she had, anyone who had the opportunity to meet Helen would always say how much they love her sense of humor and quick wit. She was often referred to as a little spitfire. Granny/Nana/Helen will be greatly missed by her family & friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18th at 1:00pm.
