DERINGER, Louie Wendell

1930 - 2017

Louie Deringer of Mankota, Saskatchewan passed away quietly on February 4, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Louie is survived by his daughters; Peggy, Stella and Pauline, sons; Mervin, Dan (Bev) Deringer, stepson Gordon (Lori), Victor (Debbie), sisters; Veronica, Margaret, Angelina and Magdalene, as well as many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline, son Steven and daughter in law Pat. A special Thank You to the staff at Points West in Stettler for their loving care and support, and a special Thank You to Elaine Helmer, his personal caregiver in the later part of his life, who so gently looked after him. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Magloires Anglican Church in Drumheller, Alberta on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Louie will be laid to rest at the Michichi Cemetery in Michichi, Alberta alongside his wife Pauline.
