DINGMAN, ROBERT A

Bob Dingman, born in Drumheller, AB, left us suddenly and sadly at his home in Penticton, BC. Bob will be remembered for his big sense of humour and generosity. He spent his formative years on the farm near Rowley, Alberta and had fond memories of his upbringing there. Married in 1969 Bob and Joan spent 29 years living overseas, growing their family and experiencing life in many different countries. Family has always been important to Bob, coming back to Canada every year to nurture those connections. He had a large presence in life and a willingness to be there for others. Bob is survived by his four siblings (Sue Evans, Bonny Mieske, Diane Peterson, Dave Dingman), wife Joan, three daughters and five grandchildren. His family and close friends will be celebrating Bob’s life through a variety of his favourite activities on January 28th, 2017. Donations in his honour can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
