ANDREW, PAUL RAYMOND (TED)

Paul Raymond (Ted) Andrew of Drumheller, Alberta, husband of the late Irene Andrew passed away on January 8, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Ted was born July 21, 1925 in Drumheller and lived most of his days on the farm until he went to live at the Sunshine Lodge. He attended Eastview School until grade 9, then went on to high school in Drumheller. In 1950 Ted went onto Olds School of Agriculture. Ted spent his entire life farming, and is very respected by the farming community. His passion was gardening and had the best vegetables around. Ted spent countless hours volunteering for many organizations, 4-H, Stampede Board, Knights of Columbus and of course the Farmers Market. Paul Raymond (Ted) Andrew is survived by one daughter, Joan (Jim) Brown, two sons, John Andrew, Danny (Patsy) Andrew, grandchildren, Terrance, Tyle-Jane, Charlie, Dezaray, Chase, Jeordie, great grandchildren, Maci-Mae, Hunter, and Kalie, one sister, Yvonne, brother, Jim (Dorothy) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends. Besides his loving wife Irene Andrew, Ted was predeceased by his parents, Charlie & Ernestine Andrew, and his brother Leonard (Frances) Andrew and brother-in-law, Stan. A Prayer Vigil will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 at 7 P.M. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. with Father Fernando as celebrant. Memorial Donations may be made in loving memory of Ted to the charity of one’s choice. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
