GORDON, Daniel George
November 3, 1953 - October 22, 2016
Dan passed away in his sleep just two days after returning from a month-long journey. He and Kealey, along with her two little girls, drove across Canada to the Maritimes in his truck and camper. Dan talked about going for many years and it provided solace to us all that he achieved what he called a “ trip of a lifetime.” Devastated at his loss are his most loved daughters Ariel, Kealey (Shawn), Sagan (Nick) and Cree (Wyatt); his treasured granddaughters Leira, Maci and Everli; his mother, Jenny and his wife, Coleen. Also mourning Dan’s passing are his brother David (Bettyanne) and Craig (Lori); special sister-in-law Vickie; mother-in-law Audrey Wells; Coleen’s siblings Stephen Wells and Jackie White; Jenny’s sister, Kris Fraser and brother Bill Beck; his late father’s sister-in-law Marty Gordon, 10 nephews, 4 nieces, many cousins, friends and neighbours. Dan was predeceased by his dad John Gordon (May 4, 2015) and his father-in-law Victor Wells (July 25, 2013). A memorial service will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 in the Carbon Community Hall at 2:00 P.M. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Dan’s memory. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
