We are truly saddened to announce that on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 Lloyd Edward Ziegler had passed away. Lloyd was the second youngest born to the late Martha and
Reinhold Ziegler on March 17, 1958 in Drumheller, Alberta. Having lived in the Drumheller and Carbon area, many would have known Lloyd as a parts man for many years before he found a passion for driving in his later years. You might have also known Lloyd as a volunteer firefighter having worked with the local fire department. While living in Drumheller, he was involved with many social activities such as playing on a softball team, and being a part of the local pool league. Outside of these activities, he enjoyed working on project vehicles, golfing, playing cards and board games with his friends and family (only if he won), and spending time with his 3 grandchildren. Lloyd leaves to mourn his wife Raylene. Children Darcy, and Cory. His daughter Jennifer with her husband Jason and their 3 children Cadence, Averie, and Bentley. As well as step children Mathew, Bobbi and her partner Justin. Lloyd leaves behind 3 brothers James, Harvey and his wife Marilyn along with 2 children Stephanie and Ashley, David and his wife Lillian and their 3 children Joyce, Charlene and Clayton. Lloyd also leaves a sister, Twylia and her husband Marvin along with their children Rhonda, Timothy, Reed, and Drew. Also left behind are many great nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts, as well as several cousins. A funeral service for the late Lloyd Ziegler will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Zion Baptist church at 2 pm. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
