Condolences to the family of TYLER BOON

TylerBoon

BOON, Tyler

April 20, 1985 - August 18, 2016

Tyler passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 18th, 2016 after a 23 year illness. Ty was many things to so many people: Daddy, artist, joker. He was a kind and gentle, loving soul, but most of all he was our friend. He had a heart that held the world. He had the ability to connect with people and share joy with all he loved. When you met Tyler you knew that you were a life long friend and he made you feel like the most important person in the world. Tyler’s love and dedication to his family spilled out to everyone he came in contact with; he had the heart of a lion or as his youngest would say if you ask him who he was, he would simply say, he was Batman. Because he was such a superhero in our lives we ask that those attending the celebration wear something that reminds them of their favorite superhero, something that reminds you of our Tyler. Tyler is survived by his wife, the love of his life Shannel; his pride and joy Jayce (2), Athena (10) and Serenity (4). His mother Joyce, father Kevin (Karen). His confidant and sister Amanda; his Care Bear and brother Kyle (Dianne) and prized nephews Levan and Haines. His aunts Donna and Karen, grandmother Madeleine Repski and honorary family Karen Hansen, Bob Broom (Heather), Sarah, Cody and Kelsey. Tyler will be deeply missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and special companion Howard the Duck. He is predeceased by his grandparents Norvan and Alice Boon and Roman Repski; great-uncles Ron and Ken Brewitt and mother-in-law Rizpah. A genuine thank you to the Drumheller Hospital for all their years of dedication and caregiving. Tyler’s Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Delia Community Hall, 218 Main Street, Delia, AB. In lieu of flowers Uncle Kyle has set up a bank account for Tyler’s children. If you would like to make a memorial donation please make cheques payable to Athena, Serenity or Jayce Boon at Scotia Bank in Drumheller, AB or send cheques to Kyle Boon at 2042 46th Ave SW Calgary, AB T2T 2R9.
