It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of our boy, Joel at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary. Joel resided, attended schools and worked in Drumheller until leaving for Red Deer and settling in Calgary. He leaves us all, his long time partner Benjamin Tanner, furbaby Charlie, his Mumsy Melenie, sister Jemma (Chase) Winters, brother Dean (Kayla) Brett, nephew Ethan Brett and niece Nova Skye Winters, extensive family in Westlock where Joel was born and raised until 1995, Barrhead, Edmonton areas, families in London, UK, Southampton, UK, Aylesbury, UK, numerous friends in all the above areas, to miss his smile, his energy, love, kindness, charismatic charm, giggles, movie critiques, just all of him. Joel is predeceased by his brother Nick, Dad Jerry, Grandad Frank, Uncle Trevor, Nanny Queenie and Grandad Reg. Funeral will be held at McInnis & Holloway Funeral Home, Fish Creek Park, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary on Thursday, August 18 at 2 pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Red Deer SPCA.
