TROY, Gwen (Wood) nee Walker
March 17, 1930 - June 28, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother on June 28, 2016. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Randy) and two sons Brian (Audrey) and David (Roxanne). Grandchildren Cheryl, Nicole, Jeffrey, Bryson and Anna. Great grandchildren Alex and Tyler. Also numerous nieces and nephews from the Walker family. Gwen spent the past few years living in Drumheller Maple Ridge Manor II with her birds and friends. In particular she liked animals of all kinds and had a special interest in painting of which she learned from a very special friend Jim who made her feel welcome at all times. She volunteered at the Badlands Art Gallery as well, which filled her days with joy and happiness. In Lieu of flowers please donate to one of her favorite two places the Badlands Art Gallery Society and the Drumheller & District Humane Society. Honouring Gwen’s wishes, no service will be held. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
