COUTURIER, Ken

It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Couturier, a long time resident of Rumsey. Ken slipped away peacefully October 26, 2015, with his family by his side. Ken was born and raised in Coronation, AB. until he met and married Gloria who was from Hanna. They made many moves until they bought their house in Rumsey, where Ken worked as a grader man for the M.D. of Starland for 34 years. It was here that they raised their family. Ken was predeceased by his loving wife on September 13, 2009. Leaving behind to mourn him are his: four Children, Ken (Pam) Couturier of Forestburg, Penny (Dale) Combest of Nacmine, Rod Couturier of Big Valley, and Terry (Sabrina) Couturier of Rumsey; eleven Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Brothers, Keith (Dawna) Couturier and Ivan (Theresa) Couturier; Sister, Eileen Kummer; as well as numerous other Family members and Friends. He will be missed by all who were blessed to have known and loved him. A graveside service took place at the Rumsey Cemetery on Saturday, October 31, 2015.
