GOUDY, Donald James Frederick (Jim)

Jim, or Diamond Jim as some knew him, passed away peacefully in the Drumheller Hospital with his family by his side.  Jim is survived by his children, daughter Tracy-Lee Shannon, son Greg Goudy, John Goudy (brother), Jesse Samuel (grandson), Melissa Samuel (granddaughter), Amanda Goudy (granddaughter) Tyler Goudy (grandson), one great granddaughter Emily Samuel, and his loving wife Darlene Von. Dad was always there and happy to get involved in any project that was undergoing.  He especially liked to give his worldly advice.  Even though Dad was ailing near the end he under took a major project of building a rather elaborate model railway which takes up ¾ of his basement.  He gave in every way to all those close to him.  He was a very generous man and will be missed by us all.
“Dad you will always be in our hearts”
