Mr. Rudolf (Rudy) Berezowski passed away at the Drumheller Health Centre on Sunday, February 23. Rudy was born at Meath Park, Saskatchewan on October 15, 1932. Rudy leaves to mourn his wife Doris, his son Dave (Margaret) of Kelvington, Saskatchewan, daughter Laura (Cliff) Wick of Foam Lake, Saskatchewan, daughter Peggy (Howard)
Meeds of MacDowall, Saskatchewan; also four stepdaughters Dalinda (Tony) Stark of Victoria, BC, Doreen Nasr of Calgary, Drenda (Wes) Johnson of St. Albert and Dawnette (Ron) Schmidt of Calgary along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers, John (Sadie) of Meath Park, Sakatchewan, Peter of Toronto, Ontario and sister Josephine of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Frank and Collette of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his daughter Penny, his Mom and Dad as well as four sisters and five brothers. Rudy took his chef’s training at Edmonton and worked in several places in B.C. and Alberta before coming to the Drumheller Penitentiary where he worked until he retired in 2008 and then went to work at Walmart up until November 2013 when he took ill and went to Hillview Lodge. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Courtney Winters Funeral Home, 199 2nd Street West, Drumheller. The family would like to thank the volunteers at the Drumheller Hospital and special thanks to Edie Langford and to the Hillview Lodge for their compassion and loving care while Rudy was a resident there.
