Donald Stewart Marshall of Drumheller, Alberta passed away in Drumheller Hospital on August 17, 2013 with his family at his side. Don was predeceased by his mother, father, one brother, one sister and his life partner Doreen Henry. Left to mourn are two stepdaughters and numerous nieces. Don was born in Vancouver, B.C. He was a painter by trade and well known as a horse trainer in the racing circuit. Don was a great athlete and became a proficient boxer, lacrosse and ball player. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Drumheller Hospital. A special thanks to his great friends, Rick and Kim Turpin, Daryle and Stella Johnson, Springvale Colony and Johnathon of Arrow Wood Colony as well as Janet and Melody of Sunshine Lodge. Don will be cremated and his ashes laid to rest at a later date. All donations can be made to Drumheller Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Donald’s life will be held at the Nacmine Community Hall (119 - 3rd Street, Nacmine, Alberta) on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 7:00 pm.
