JOHNSON (Hillcox), Lois Marjorie
January 13, 1930 – August 8, 2012
After a very short but courageous battle with cancer, Lois went to be with her lord and saviour on August 8th. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband of almost 45 years, Robert Johnson; children Wayne Telford (Irene Huk) of Edmonton, Karen Telford of Edmonton, Wendy Benzon (Greg) of Drumheller and Kevin Johnson (Anna Marie Dunlop) of Edmonton; grandchildren Darren Davey of Edmonton, Lindsay Snow (Ryan Nicolson) of Edmonton and Ty Benzon of Drumheller; sisters Ruth Lupul (Tony) of Edmonton and Evelyn Jaster (Harvey) of Port Dover, ON, sisters-in-law Helen Sukanen of Outlook, SK, Mavis (Gil) Gagne of Edmonton, brother-in-law Glen (Isabel) of Dryden, ON as well as many other family members and friends. Lois was predeceased by her parents John & Beulah Hillcox, daughter Darlene Telford and sister Beatrice Hyska. A private funeral service was held on August 11. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Lois to Gideons International in Canada, P.O. Box 3619, Guelph, Ontario, N1H 7A2.
