January 3, 1932 – August 8, 2012

Lawrence P. Bilodeau, 80, of Drumheller, Alberta, passed away on August 8th, 2012 at Swan Valley Lodge in Creston, B.C. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on September 7th, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish. Father Dan Stevenot will be officiating. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 PM on September 6th, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish. Burial of creamation ashes will follow the funeral at the Drumheller Cemetery at 11:30pm for family members only. Lawrence was born in Westfield, Massachusetts on January 3rd, 1932. He served within the Navy during the Korean War from 1950 – 1954. He and his family immigrated to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in July of 1976. Lawrence moved to many different places, but did finally settle in Drumheller, Alberta in 1994 where he served faithfully St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish. The last five years of his life were spent in Creston, British Columbia due to health problems. Lawrence is survived by his four sons, Gregory Bilodeau and his wife Joanne, Allan Bilodeau and Sandy, David Bilodeau and his wife Joyce, and Daniel Bilodeau and his wife Kathleen. There are also nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Lawrence has one remaining brother, Raymond Bilodeau, in Westfield, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Swan Valley Lodge, P.O. Box 1880, Creston,  BC, V0B 1G0. David and Joyce Bilodeau of Lawrence Bilodeau wish to thank the Swan Valley Lodge Staff for all that they did to make his stay there so comforting. We wish also to thank all family and friends in this time of need.
