Canada Day Parade winners announced

    The rain didn’t dampen the spirit of parade revelers as the July 1 Canada Day Parade, presented by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce, went ahead rain or shine.
    This year there were more than 100 entries in the famous parade and smiles were abound as it weaved its way through an enthusiastic crowd. While rain was pouring as the parade began, by the end, the sky was clearing, making for a great day to celebrate Canada’s 148th birthday.
    The rain didn’t curb the creativity and enthusiasm of parade participants went all out to celebrate the day, and winners were honoured for their hard work. The winners are:
