Pizza Hut is challenging residents to come out and make one of Drumheller’s park spaces cleaner.
The pizzeria is setting up at Newcastle Beach Park this Saturday and is hoping that many more will come out to help clean the park and ball diamonds.
Jamie McConnell of Pizza Hut tells the Mail they will be setting up at 11 a.m. to help with a clean up. Many hands make light work so they are hoping a strong contingent of volunteers wishing to make a difference will come out. The restaurant will be supplying snacks and refreshments to those working.
Along with strong backs, they also need hand tools such as rakes or shovels to make the day’s work go smoothly.
