Rosebud resident Royal Sproule, left, accepts the proceeds of a fundraising brunch from Rosebud Lions Club president Derek McMillan. Sproule, currently in treatment for cancer, was overwhelmed by the generosity of the more than 250 people who attended Sunday, April 19. The Rosebud Lions Club, with donations from Rockyford Grocery, sponsored and served the meal, with admission by donation. More than $9,500 in donations were received.
