Drumheller's Dinosaur Trail Golf & Country Club elected a number of board members at their annual general meeting February 17.

A new executive will guide the fortunes of the Dinosaur Trail Golf Club for the next year following the annual general meeting Tuesday, February 17.
Six new board members, comprising, Wes Chung, Tony Pliva, Cheryl Richen, Amy Yavis, Mike Kostelecky and Trevor Gough, will join returning board members Joanne Schinnour, Greg Morrow and Linda Traquair. The executive officers are voted on by the board at an upcoming organizational meeting.
In other news, it was announced that club manager/superintendent Mitch Davidson is stepping down and moving to a new career in a consultant’s role in a neighbouring province. He has been with the club for two years and has provided good guidance and sound practices in his dual roles. His resignation is effective March 15.
Volunteers will form a committee to run the ever popular Dinner and Auction to be held at the BCF at a yet-to-be-determined date. This event is one of the year’s major fundraisers for the club and is a popular night with great food and a silent auction as well.
Another important meeting for the club members will take place on Wednesday, March 11 at the clubhouse where a number of new initiatives will be discussed.
