Bouncy houses will be set up at the Badlands Community Facility on Monday, February 16 as families are challenged to Unplug on Family Day to reconnect.

The Family Day holiday is coming up and in Drumheller that means a number of fun activities.
The Town of Drumheller is once again participating in Family Day Unplugged: Disconnect to Connect. This is a day for families to unplug from technology and plug back into the family.
On Monday, February 16, the field house at the Badlands Community Facility will be chock full of fun with inflatable fun for families to come and enjoy from noon to 5 p.m. There will also be board games for even more family fun.
The Golden Prairie Parent Link Centre will not only be celebrating Family Day, but also its 10 anniversary of supporting families in the valley. They will be serving free cake.
There are even more fun activities put on by the Town of Drumheller to mark the holiday including a free skate at the Drumheller Memorial Arena from 12 p.m to 3:30 p.m. and a Toonie swim at the Aquaplex from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Royal Tyrrell Museum is also continuing its Family Day Tradition of great activities all weekend long. This includes story time, and fossil casting sessions as well as free auditorium video presentations from Saturday to Monday.
There will also be free admission on Monday February 16. Go to www.tyrrellmuseum.com for a full listing of Tyrrell activities.
