Starting today, Drumheller has a new fresh option for lunch and dinner.

The Chopped Leaf is making its debut in the valley. The restaurant, at the corner of Highway 9 and Highway 10, is a healthy dine-in and take out franchise offering chef designed salads, soups, wraps and other healthy options.

Franchisee Nathan Bosch tells The Mail that the 2,200 square foot restaurant has been completely renovated and will have a staff of at least 12 people operating the venture.

The Chopped Leaf is a fresh, modern Canadian based franchise with 68 locations and an eye on the future. Bosch is also the franchisee of the Chopped Leaf Restaurants in Airdrie and Quarry Park in Calgary. They will also be opening another in Okotoks come late 2018.  The Drumheller location will be the first location to have a pickup window for their online order/pay app.

The Chopped Leaf is open starting 9:00 am Monday June 12th and patrons can dine in or order from the app. Details online at www.choppedleaf.ca.

The Drumheller Mail will be running a draw on the Drumheller Mail Facebook page fb.com/drumhellermail asking what you think the tastiest menu item will be and will chose one lucky winner each day on June 12th, 13th and 14th. The winner will receive a $10 gift card courtesy of the Chopped Leaf.
