On Friday, January 27 Brent Walker, General Manager for Co-op, presented many organizations donation cheques from funds raised through the til tape program.  David Friesen, Controller from the Co-op, said, “We gave to 41 groups in total. Cheques ranged from $11 to $1,089 with a total of $13,853.13.” Drumheller Co-op has been giving back to the community through the till tape program twice a year since 2000. Their year to date donations to the community through this program is over $300,000. “Any groups that are apart of the program accept the till tapes for them to total and bring in twice a year. We have been very happy with the program so far.” said Friesen.
