ATB’s Branch Manager Adrian Hartman was a real wall flower at the office Friday after he was left just hanging out for a fundraiser for Alberta Children's Hospital.
Staff and clients donated a toonie for tape and had the opportunity to stick Hartman to the wall. Together they raised just over $100 for charity.
In talking to Hartman leading up to the event, we were inspired to help, too, and together we came up with a list of the things you should do before you’re ever taped up to a wall.
10 Things to Do Before You're Taped to the Wall
1. Bathroom breaks beforehand are absolutely essential.
2. Brush up on your favourite Amazing Spiderman quotes.
3. Wear long sleeves, or get that sleek, hairless look you’ve always secretly wanted.
4. Remember to take the tape off bottom up.
5. Hide your wallet.
6. Remember that you’re in a bank and to avoid saying “it’s a stick up!”
7. As a manager, approve staff holidays before the event.
8. Set your out-of-office automatic email reply to “Sorry, I’m held up today and cannot return your message.”
9. Have your wife around to secure those sensitive parts.
10. Make sure someone agrees to take you down before closing for the long weekend.
