Kool Kutz in Drumheller provided a much need boost to Drumheller Area Skateboard Enthusiasts (DASE) in their fundraising efforts for the new skatepark. The salon had a fundraiser on Saturday May 16 where the proceeds from haircuts went to the skatepark construction. There was also a silent auction that was well supported by the community and sponsors. Sue Waye of the Healing Waye also pitched in with $1 a minute massages. In all they raised $2,867.
