Tyler was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2015. Two years later, he was hit with dementia. Tyler fought it every step of the way but when it became clear that he was losing the battle, he made the decision to go out on his own terms choosing the medical assistance in dying program. On February 9, 2022, Tyler passed away peacefully and with dignity at his home surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 42 years, Valerie.
