CAMPBELL, Lois Margaret

With family at her side, Lois passed away peacefully Saturday, March 12, after a courageous battle with cancer at the Drumheller Health Centre. Lois was born in Drumheller on September 17, 1943 to Henry and Violet Harrison. She resided in Drumheller and worked for 30 years at the Co-op while raising her four children. She enjoyed time spent with family, especially her grandchildren, gardening, reading, and doing home improvements. Lois’ love for animals was displayed by always having food available for a stray cat, and peanuts for the blue jays. She will forever be remembered as a gentle lady with an indomitable spirit. Lois is predeceased by her parents, and one sister Donna, and is survived by her four children: Kathy (Blaine) Leonhardt, Scott Campbell, Crystal Campbell, and Collin (Julie) Campbell, by nine grandchildren, Janelle and Joshua; Jenna, Delaney and Presley; Devin, Rebecca, Samantha, and Tyler. She is also survived by her sister, Verna (John) MacDonald and numerous nieces and nephews. At her request there will be no Funeral Service. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
