DERINGER, Pauline May
1949 - 2011

It is with infinite sadness that we said good-bye to our beloved wife and mother, Pauline on February 25, 2011.  After a prolonged battle with cancer,  she passed away peacefully at the Drumheller Hospital with her family and friends at her bedside.  Pauline is survived by her husband of 37 years, Louie;  brother Paul (Lin), son Gord (Lori), step-children Stella Lomas, Dan (Bev), Pauline (Brian), Victor,  Merv (Pat),  Peggy (Dennis) and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Pauline was predeceased by her parents and her stepson Steven.  Pauline immigrated to Canada in 1968.  She met and married Louie in 1974 and together they have resided in Michichi ever since.  She worked at the Drumheller Court House until her retirement in 1995.  After retirement, Pauline and  Louie would spend each summer at Willow Grove Campground with their many friends.  All of her friends and family will miss Pauline’s smile, her giving, caring and tolerant spirit but her strength and faith remain.  Rest easy Mom.  “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls; for my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”  Matthew 11:25-30.  Funeral services for the late Pauline May Deringer will be held at St. Magloire’s  Anglican Church in Drumheller on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Alan Getty officiating.  As an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Pauline, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice in care of Brennen Funeral Home and Cremation Services P.O. Box 193 Stettler, Alberta TOC 2LO who have been entrusted with the care and arrangements. 1.888.942.3315  Condolences to the family can be e-mailed to brennenf@telusplanet.net.
