CAMPBELL, Vivian Doris

Vivian passed away Friday, October 8, 2010. She was born into a family of ten children. She lived in Drumheller her entire life. Vivian graduated from Drumheller High School and started her career as a postal clerk, then as an unemployment service worker. From there she joined the Bank of Montreal. This career ended in 1979 when she became a pensioner. She then became active in politics, which she enjoyed, and served in many campaigns. Vivian was instrumental in naming the Gordon E. Taylor Bridge and was a constituency agent for the Bow River riding office for Gordon E. Taylor, M.P. Her next job was an assistant manager at the Dinosaur Trailer Court. She retired in 1999. Vivian is survived by two brothers, Donald Campbell, Kelowna, BC, Jack Campbell (Donna), Edmonton, AB, one sister Viola Lowen (Chris), Drumheller, AB, one sister-in-law Emily Campbell, Victoria BC, and many nieces and nephews who loved her sharing a great part of her life. Predeceased by three brothers, Victor Campbell, Stanley Campbell (Elizabeth), Robert Campbell, three sisters, Evelyn Campbell, Vera Windsor (Arnold), Reta Schaffer (Stephen), two sisters-in-law, Maureen Campbell, Betty Campbell. Arrangements entrusted to Personal Alternative Funeral Services. Memorial Service attended by family. Interment in Drumhelelr Cemetery.
