Colleen Rauch of Delia, Alberta, beloved wife of John, mother of Tim, Daniel and David Rauch, went to be with her Lord and Saviour suddenly on September 8, 2010. She is survived by her parents Roy and Jean Luyendyk, numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. On John’s side she is survived by John’s brother Herman (Lorna) and their three children: Chris (Natasha, Tristan & Emily) Jennifer (Andrew & Jayme) Amanda (Vaughn& Brianna). Colleen will be remembered for her kind and loving spirit. She treasured her family and friends, loved to sing and share her knowledge with her students. She was raised and attended school in Cremona, Alberta. She continued her education and received her Degrees in Education and Arts. She continued her teaching career while raising her family. She loved the farm life, animals, and always thought it would have been great to be a pioneer. Colleen had a strong faith in her Lord and committed her life to serving Him. She loved to be actively involved in her communities and schools with the productions of musicals and plays for special events. Colleen believed wholeheartedly in the education of others and had the ability to connect with each of her students. Many people were touched by her life and she will be greatly missed. A celebration of Colleen’s life was held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 in Delia, AB. In Lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for the education of her children. Donations can be made either to the Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle, OR the Chinook Credit Union in Drumheller, Ab.
