Inez Bereski of Drumheller, beloved wife of Don, passed away after a short battle with cancer on December 15, 2014 at the age of 64 years. Inez was born and raised in Drumheller, AB. She was the daughter of Adeline and Florio Contenti. She married her high school sweetheart on January 18, 1969. They owned and operated a successful plumbing and heating business for 35 years, until retiring a couple years ago. John Florio was born to them on May 4, 1969, almost 4 years later Christine Dawn was a welcomed addition. Inez loved to be outside with Don in their yard, doing gardening and tending to their flowers. Long walks and bike rides were a common activity. Her family was the most important thing in the world to her, particularly her grandchildren. They would light up her world, and she was still full of smiles and hugs for them right up to her last day. Besides her loving husband Don, Inez is survived by; her mother Adeline Contenti, her daughter Chrissy (Cliff) McDougald, son John Bereski, grandchildren: Matthew, Connor and Delaney McDougald, sisters Adele (Alan) Sigfusson, Laurie (Kim) Crosbie, brothers Rocky (Stacey) Contenti and Mark Contenti as well as numerous nieces, and nephews. Inez was predeceased by; her dad Florio (Dud) Contenti, brother Johnny Contenti and daughter-in-law Rachelle Bereski. An informal gathering of friends and family will be held at the Midland Hall, Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M., to share stories and laughter.
