July 9, 1940 - June 2, 2014

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our Husband and Father Bryan Finnimore, who passed away peacefully June 2, 2014 in Drumheller, Alberta with his family by his side.
Bryan was born July 9, 1940 in St. Rose du Lac Manitoba. He was raised on his family farm in Norgate Manitoba. And in 1961 he married his soul mate Elaine. In 1964 Bryan and Elaine welcomed their daughter Lorelei to the family and in 1970 their son Dean. Lorelei married Gord Tedischini in 1984 and in 2013 Dean married Jenny Vredegoor.
Bryan was a B Pressure Welder by trade and upon retirement Bryan and Elaine moved to Rosedale, AB in 2002 and have called Drumheller home since then.
Bryan leaves to mourn his loving wife Elaine Finnimore, his daughter Lorelei Tedischini (Gord), son Dean Finnimore (Jenny), Brother Cliff Finnimore (Jay), Sister Evelyn Harper (Ivan), numerous nieces’ nephews and lifetime friends.
Bryan was predeceased by his mother Louise, father Charlie, sister Kathleen (Gerald), brother Leonard, brother Harry (Jean), and three infant children.
A celebration of Bryan’s life was held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Calgary.

Bryan’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all the visits, calls, cards and emails over the last week. It is has been a great comfort. We would also like to thank the staff at both the Hanna Long Term Care and the Drumheller Continuing Care for taking such great care of our husband and Dad over the last 9 months. Your care and compassion was so appreciated.
