Myrtle Evelyn Archibald passed away on Sunday March 2, 2014 at the age of 87 years after a lengthy stay at Rosefield Care Center. She is survived by her loving & devoted husband of 64 years Ernie of Innisfail, daughters April(Jerry) Zacharuk, Karen Fouquette, Lois(Ross) Frisken, sons Morris(Jodi) Archibald & Roy(Ann) Archibald. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by son-in-law George Fouquette. Myrt was born in Prince Albert Saskatchewan & at the age of 10 she moved with her family to the farm north of Birch Hills. When she & Ernie married they lived for 7 years on the farm at Birch Hills, 12 years in Prince Albert & 14 years in Drumheller before retiring in Innisfail in 1981. Myrt loved spending time with her family, sewing, doing crafts, gardening & camping in the mountains. She will forever be missed. The family would like to extend a huge heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at Rosefield Care Center for their devoted care to both Myrt & Ernie.
