Sharlyne Marie (Misura) Drouin of Drumheller passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with Huntingtons in the Drumheller Continuing Care on May 18, 2013. She was born on December 22, 1951 in Canmore, Alberta. Sharlyne is reunited in heaven with her parents Michael and Mary Misura, her 3 sisters MaryAnn, Sherri, and Shelly, and her faithful companion Stroeker. Sharlyne will be sadly missed by her husband, Denis; children Karie (Dean) and Kyle (Amanda), grandchildren Jennifer, Hunter, Carter, and Eve, brother Michael (Connie), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Sharlyne loved to spend time with her friends sharing laughs over a cup coffee or watching CNN. Sharlyne was a dedicated hockey mom and her son’s biggest cheerleader, following Kyle from one arena to the next. In 1995 Karie gave Sharlyne the greatest gift of all when she gave birth to Jennifer and Sharlyne instantly fell in love. Sharlyne was blessed again in 2004, 2008 and 2009 when Hunter, Carter and Eve were born, each one holding a special place in her heart.
