MALANSKY, Stephen Robert
March 20, 1951 - January 28, 2013
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steve at Parksville, B.C., after a long and courageous battle with A.L.S. Leaving behind his loving and devoted wife Diane, of 41 years, two wonderful and caring daughters Cheryl (Pat) and Michelle (Lars) and three adorable grandchildren Dominique, Broc and Alexis, who were the light of Steve’s eyes. Brothers and sisters: Jim (Deb), Alex (Barb), Richard (Leslie), Bonnie (Art), Nick (Kathy), Harry (Tammy), and Patricia (Neil), many special in-laws: Beryl, Gene (Ellie), Brian (Jackie), Lynne (Al), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Steve will truly be missed by those who knew him.

As I sat there close by your side,
All your wishes I had to abide.
I hope you went towards the light,
As you left us on Monday night.
The pain I felt it hurt so bad,
Gone so early it makes me mad.
It was hard to watch you give up your fight,
When you left us on that
mournful night.
I’ll have to wait until my
journey is done,
We will meet again and
I miss you a ton.
