Tove Mortensen passed away at the Drumheller Hospital on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the age of 74 years with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Tove was born in Ejstupholm, Denmark. Tove leaves to mourn her husband, Gunnar, and 2 daughters Connie (Kim) and Susan (Lars). Tove also has five grandchildren Kyle, Katrina, Andrew, Kevin and Sarah. Tove and Gunnar immigrated to Canada in 1964 and farmed in the Dalum area until their retirement in 1998. Services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Dalum on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Hanna Funeral Chapel entrusted with arrangements. Special thanks to all the caring medical staff at Drumheller Hospital. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Tove’s memory may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Dalum, the Drumheller Health Foundation (Palliative Care) or to a charity of your choice.
