GRIFFIN, Lily Belle

With great sadness the family would like to announce the passing of Lily Belle Griffin on Thursday, August 18, 2011. She will be missed by her children, Ken Griffin and Marlaine (Steve) Kalman and her grandchildren Karla Kalman and Steven (Sarah) Kalman. Lily was born in Drumheller and continued to live the majority of her life in the Drumheller Valley with the exception of a few years in Sylvan Lake. Her later years were spent at the Sunshine Lodge and Continuing Care where she was known as the Puzzle Lady. Lily was a quiet, gentle soul who enjoyed the company of family and friends. She had a love for animals, especially cats, was an avid gardener, enjoyed reading and made the best butter tarts. There will be no service at Lily’s request.
