Munson and Area Community Association is a finalist for the second round of the UFA Get ‘n’ Give contest that awards $50,000 to community projects.
The contest invites rural communities within 200 km of a UFA Farm & Ranch Supply or Petroleum store to enter creative submissions profiling a local project that will make a major impact in their area.
The second round of the Get ‘n’ Give contest began in Sepember, with La Crete Community Initiatives being the first winner.
La Crete will now select the next winner, which will be announced on December 3.
The Hussar & District Hall Maintenance Society was the first winner of UFAs Get ‘n’ Give contest in November 2013.The Handhills Lake Community Club won in April of this year.
The other finalists in this round with Munson are HIllmond, Sasketchawan, and Bezanson, Cassils and Worsley, Alberta.
