Q: When do my tires need replacing? A: Tires have wear bar indicators built into the bottom of the grooves of the tread. When your tread has worn down to these wear bars it is time to replace the tire. Tires should be inspected regularly for excessive and irregular tire wear, cracks, bulges and proper inflation. Odd wear on the tire can indicate a more serious problem with suspension or steering components.
