THANK YOU...I would like to give thanks to the many people who took care of my father, Alex Naffin, during the last months of his life. Much appreciation to Dr. Tlhape whom father liked very much, and sincere gratitude to the staff members and volunteers of Sunshine Lodge and the acute care and continuing care sections of the hospital. The Helping Hands organization was lovely, especially Joan McGhee who went above and beyond with her patience and caring. Thank you to Blaine Primrose who stepped up and became my father’s friend when he desperately needed one. Thank you to Ken and Vicky Leonhardt for their regular visits. Father loved to have company. Thank you to Don and Sandy Naffin whose visits helped father to know he had not been forgotten. And last but not least, I lack the words to adequately express my gratitude to my cousin, Eleanor Jensen, and her sons and their families who “adopted” father and did countless acts of service for him.
God bless you all and when your turn to pass comes, may you all slip away peacefully in your sleep.
