Angelo is also survived by his brother Roger and many nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his father Eugene, mother Santina, sister Noemi, brother Jimmy and niece Brenda. Angelo was born in Drumheller and raised in Rosedale. Growing up, Angelo loved playing baseball, hockey and enjoyed skiing in the winter months. He also enjoyed building model airplanes, cars and ships. He was an ardent dog lover and had many beloved dogs over the years. In his later years he eventually became a cat lover and they became as beloved to him as his dogs. Angelo worked for a large paving contractor in Calgary. His work involved road and street construction and asphalt paving. He eventually rose to the position of foreman for the company. He moved back to the Drumheller Valley where he worked for FairEye Construction until his retirement in 1986. Angelo loved his work and put in many long hours each day. Angelo was a member of the 10 year Champion Rosedale Midways and truly enjoyed playing ball with all his buddies. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and taxidermy. Angelo enjoyed his annual trips to Great Falls with Maxine and their many trips to B.C. to spend time with his grandsons. Angelo’s grandsons were very special to him and he looked forward to the summer months when each of the boys came to visit. Angelo and the boys would spend many hours fishing, golfing, flying kites and going for long walks with the dog. Angelo had a great sense of humor and will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to STARS Air Ambulance or the charity of your choice.
