VAN RIPER: Olga

Olga Van Riper, aged 91 years of Claresholm, Alberta passed away peacefully on October 14, 2007 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary with family by her side. She is survived by her four daughters: Eleanor (Dean) Bobocel of Kelowna, B.C., Ilene (Henry) Hall of Cochrane, AB, Doreen (Art) Jervis of Linden, AB, Iona (Jim) Geissinger of Ardmore, AB; fourteen grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Dorothy (Morrie) Hendrix of Keremeos, B.C., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Olga was predeceased by her husband Kennth (1996); two brothers Leslie and Clarence; three sisters Evelyn, Margaret and Helen. Services will be held at Claresholm United Church on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Oliver C. Seward officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to S.T.A.R.S.
